Classroom Support, Special Needs. This school provides places for 170 girls and boys aged between 3 and 16 who have statements of special educational needs because of complex learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Currently, most of the pupils have moderate learning difficulties but those most recently admitted tend to have more complex needs especially communication difficulties, physical and medical difficulties and autistic spectrum disorders. The school has been awarded the status of a specialist college. The overall effectiveness of the school is outstanding and it provides excellent value for money.
